Carmen Guzman

 

Carmen Guzman, 68, entered into her final resting place on April 3, 2022 in Houston, TX. She was born on March 25, 1954 in Houston, TX. Carmen was a tough, intelligent, strong woman that lived life and walked her own path the only way she knew how. She loved her Mexican traditions, American traditions, and she would always say “life is to short, family should always stick together.” A spiritual woman who was very connected by faith. life made her a fighter but through her will alone she learned to live it. Through her life experiences, she learn to guide people and show them how tough they could be. Lover of literature, music, and law.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.

Carmen reunites with her daughter, Belinda Ann Guzman; sister, Esther Hernandez; and brother, Alfredo Guzman.

Carmen leaves behind her sons: Cesar Gonzalez, and Regino Gonzalez; grandchildren: Samuel Avila, and Adan Avila; sisters: Rosie Johns, Estella Martinez, Janie Mar, Gloria Mills; brothers: Richard Guzman and Ruben Guzman; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Family will open doors from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2022 at Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland. Funeral service will take place Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland. Burial to follow at South Park Cemetery.
