Connie was born March 4, 1936, to John and Carmela Russo in Teaneck, NJ. She attended school in Englewood, NJ, before meeting the love of her life James Galvin. They married on June 7, 1959, at St. Cecilia church in Englewood, NJ, and proceeded to have three children in the next three years. Connie was a performer much of her life. Early on she sang with the Sweet Adeline group in Englewood. Later in life she would join the Performing Arts group at the Renaissance in Manchester. She and her husband stole many a show! Having led a diverse life from small business owner to bookkeeper to volunteer, Connie was always busy. She also loved playing card games and Rummikub, and found endless enjoyment in beating everyone at the table.
Connie was a lifelong Catholic and before becoming ill did much volunteer work for her local church in NJ, including being a Eucharist minister, member of the Rosary Society, and taking part in numerous fundraisers for the church. She was a recipient of the Volunteer of the Year for the many hours she gave.

She is predeceased by her parents John and Carmela Russo, siblings Rose Duffy, Jean LaVechio (husband Tony), Tony Cuccurullo, Tony DiCicco, Josephine and Joseph Gazzale, and her beloved son David. She looks forward to the welcoming party in Heaven.
