Carl Eugene Efird, 91 of Santa Fe passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2026 in Friendswood.  He was born on July 11, 1934 to Carl and Rebecca Efird.

Carl was a resident of Santa Fe for over 35 years.  He loved working in his garage, his family, Old Westerns and going to church.

He is preceded in death by his wife Minnie Jean Efird, daughter Susan Elaine Reyer and son Carl Eugene Efird, Jr.  Carl is survived by his grandsons; Jason “JK” Reyer and Ryan.

A visitation will be on Thursday, March 5, 2026 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at the Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson.  A funeral service will be at the Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson at 10:00am on Friday, March 6, 2026 with Heath Taggart officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.
