Bruce Warner Kimball Honings

Bruce Warner Kimball Honings, 58, resident of Santa Fe, Texas passed from this life, Friday, December 14, 2018. He was born to proud and loving parents, Warner and Lucy Kimball, March 5 1960 in Rockford Illinois.

Bruce had proudly served the community of League City, Texas with the police department for 35 years, retiring as a Patrol Lt. After his retirement from LCPD, Bruce became a Law Enforcement teacher at Santa Fe High School. He called this his dream job.

Bruce is preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Honings.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory and a lifetime of accomplishments his loving wife, Lorae Kimball Honings; his mother, Lucy Honings and his father, Warner Kimball; three daughters, Ashli Dobbs, Jacki Kimball Honings; and Keeli Kimball Honings; a son, Colton Kimball Honings; two sisters, Julie Aguilar, and Lisa Chisman; three grandchildren, Shayla Dobbs, Connor Dobbs, and Duncan Dobbs; as well as many friends and colleagues.

In his honor a funeral service will be held at Dominion Church, 6400 Calder Drive, Dickinson, Tx on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., under the direction of Crowder Funeral Home, Dickinson, Tx.

  2. Bruce was a Gentle Giant! He was always fair about his decisions with the young ones. He always taught them the positive way of life. He would give them the direction that they needed that their parents were not giving them. RIH Bruce, your brothers and sisters have it from here. My deepest sympathy for all his family.
