Bobbie Len “Babs” Williams

williams-bobbie-2016-obit-picBobbie Len “Babs” Williams, 70, of Texas City passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2016 in Texas City.  She was born October 15, 1946 in Galveston, Texas.  Bobbie was a BOI and lived in the area all her life.  She was a member of St. Mary’s of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church and St. Mary’s St. Monica Altar Group.  Bobbie liked to sew, quilt and collect dolls.

She is preceded in death by her parents Nonet and Aline Maly, her husband Travis A. Williams; son Alan Wade Odom: sisters Betty Pitts and Gail Whitman.

She is survived by her two sons; Carl Michael Odom and wife Suzy, Mark Scott Odom; three sisters; Bonnie Spring, Barbara Duhon, Rosie Turner and husband Walker; her seven grandchildren: Joseph Odom, Brandon Odom, Lauren Odom, Mark Scott Odom, Jr., Devin Odom, Alexis Odom and Maddie Odom; five great grandchildren: Reign Odom, Terra Odom, Elaina Odom, Hayden Gregory, and Layla Garza; and last but not least her three Poms: Punkin, Giget, and Ginger.

A visitation will be on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque.  A Funeral Mass will be at 10:00am on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at St. Mary’s of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church in Texas City.  A private burial will be a later time.

Memorials may be made to St. Vincent De Paul Society thru St. Mary’s of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church in Texas City.

  1. My Condolences go to the family. Bobbie always had a smile on her face. She was a wonderful person, happy and full of life and she will be missed dearly. May you rest in peace, Bobbie.
