Billie Nell Fyke, 95, of Pearland, Texas, passed away on December 31, 2025. She was born on September 19, 1930, in Clayton, Texas, to Jessie Franklin Ross and Minnie Corinne Kellar Ross. Billie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker for her entire life.

Billie was a faithful member of Shadycrest Baptist Church in Pearland, where she enjoyed being in the choir, playing dominoes on Thursdays, and traveling the US with fellow senior friends.

She was also a resident of Shadycrest for over fifty-five years, where she spent her time bowling, playing piano, volunteering at Memorial Hospital Southeast and baking wonderful cookies, pies, and cakes.

Billie is preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty years, Cullen Thomas Fyke, her parents, Jessie and Minnie Ross, her brother, Franklin Clay Ross (Patsy), and her niece, Teresa Ross Crume. She is survived by her son, Steven Thomas Fyke (Carolyn), her grandchildren, Kelli Ann Fox (Jordan) and Melanie Kay Hancock (Timothy), plus her three great-grandchildren, Caleb Fox, Jonathan Fox, and Tanner Hancock. She is also survived by nieces, Tina Ross Crymes and Becky Grigry, plus nephew Robert Nelson Monroe, and great nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Crowder Funeral Home, located at 2422 E. Broadway St, Pearland, Texas 77581. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M with Pastor Tyler McKinney officiating. A graveside service will take place on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at Memorial Park, 2107 TX-149, Carthage, Texas 75633.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made in Billie’s honor to the
Alzheimer’s Association.
