Bertha Estla Valverde-Seal, of Kemah, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016 in Pearland, Texas at the age of 34. She was born on February 11, 1982 in Mexico City, Mexico. She is survived by her husband Chris, children Sofia Marie Seal and Christopher Javier Seal, parents Dr. Jorge Javier Valverde and Maria Estela Valverde, sisters Jennifer Michele Valverde and Ariadna Ivette Vermeulen and many other loving family and friends. The Family will receive friends on Monday, April18, 2016 from 5-9:00pm with a Rosary at 7 o’clock at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main, League City, Texas 77573. A Mass will follow on Tuesday at 10am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 1612 East Walker, League City, Texas 77573 with Father Howard Drabek officiating. Dear Chris, Sofia& Christopher,
I worked with Betty at KE Little Elementary. She was always such a bright & bubbly person. Always quick with a smile or warm hug. She always looked on the bright side of life. She was a true friend and it didn’t take long to feel the love of Jesus shining through her.
I remember her saying at lunch one day that she wanted another baby, hopefully a girl, then came Sofia. More than anything else she cherished being a wife & mother. The world is a better place for having her in it.
