Andrea Lynn Johnson
With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Andrea Lynn Johnson, an extraordinary mother, loving grandmother, and adoring great-grandmother, who left us peacefully on June 8, 2025, at the age of 79. A resident of Dickinson, Texas, for 30 years, Andrea’s love knew no limits, her devotion had no bounds, and there was nothing she wouldn’t do for those she held dear.
Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on October 2, 1945, to Audry Lynn Butler and Earline (Schmidt) Butler, Andrea embodied a spirit of unwavering devotion. Before making Dickinson her home, she resided in Alvin, Texas, building a life centered around her growing family.
Andrea was the heart of her family, pouring her energy and love into her roles. She was a constant source of support, wisdom, and comfort, always prioritizing the needs of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren above her own. Her joy was found in their happiness, and her legacy is etched in the lives she so tenderly nurtured.
Beyond her family, Andrea was a faithful member of New Hope Church in Friendswood, Texas, where she found strength and so loved learning from Pastor Tim. Professionally, she dedicated over 30 years to Lyondell in Accounting and Human Resources roles, retiring in 2006. Even in her career, her compassionate nature shone through, impacting colleagues with her kindness and dedication.
Andrea leaves behind a loving family who will forever treasure her memory and carry her love with them always: her daughter, Alyssa Hernandez and husband Chris; her son, Troy Coker and wife Tracy; and her brother, Brian Butler and wife Priscilla. Her spirit will live on through her cherished grandchildren, Dustin, Delaney, Katelin, and Chance, and her precious great-grandchildren, Adalynn and Braylin, each a testament to her enduring love.
A visitation will be held in Andrea’s honor on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, with a ceremony celebrating her beautiful life following at 3:30 PM, at Crowder Funeral Home Chapel in Dickinson, Texas. She will be deeply missed, but her love and light will continue to guide us.
