  7. Dave,

I am shocked and terribly sorry to hear of Amelia’s passing. She was truly one of the nicest people I have ever met. I’ll never forget her kind, gentle soul. Most of all, I will never forget her taking me under wing by adopting me as her little sister. You, Maya, and the rest of the Rai family are in my thoughts and prayers. Me, my mother and father are here for you all always.

    With deepest sympathy,

  8. Our family is praying for you all. The last conversation I had with Amelia she was talking about how much she loved being a mom and how she could not imagine loving anything more than she loved you and Maya. I specifically remember the twinkle in her eyes and her beautiful smile while she was recounting her happiness. She will be dearly missed.

  16. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to make my way out there to pay my respects to one of the classiest ladies I’ve ever known. There’s a piece of my heart that is missing but I have great memories of so many good times with Amelia. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your lives and helping with your special day, and for our fantastic trip from Dallas to Houston and having me in your home, and for always being the wonderful, giving, caring people you are. Maya is a reflection of Amelia with so many great qualities of you both. May she always watch over you from above, and her spirit live on in you both. I love you guys to pieces and hope your hearts will find peace.
