Amaya Anatilia Lopez-Grullon was born four months premature on June 9, 2026, in Webster, TX. She lived for 17 days. She passed away peacefully in her mother’s arms on June 26, 2026, in the same hospital where she was born. Amaya is survived by her mother Yesenia, father Xavier, and sister Eva.

We will never get to see you walk,

or hear your first words,

but you are safe among the stars now.

Though your time here was short,

we are grateful to have met you. You will always be Eva’s sister and our baby girl.

On Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM there will be a Rosary followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church, 1612 E. Walker, League City, TX 77573. Burial will be on Monday July 20, 2026, at 9:00 AM at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Dickinson, TX. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in Amaya’s memory may do so to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Vermont Oxford Network.
