Alicia Perez
Dear Family and Friends,
We gather to honor and remember the life of Alicia Perez. Born on July 28, 1950, in Elsa, Texas, she built a life centered on love, family, and quiet strength. Married to Rudy Perez for over 50 years, her loyalty and devotion were the cornerstones of her character.
As a mother of three, she was a kind and constant presence. We never had to wonder if we were loved; she showed it through warm meals, late-night talks, and her non-judgmental support. Her grandchildren were her world, and she found immense joy in caring for them, whether through school pick-ups or filling her home with laughter and toys.
Alicia found happiness in the simple things. She loved the thrill of finding treasures at second-hand stores and the shared laughter of playing Lotería with those she loved. She also enjoyed relaxing at the nickel slots, where the experience was always more about the company and the smiles than the jackpot.
What we will remember most is her selfless kindness. She gave her time, energy, and heart without seeking praise, wanting only for her family to be close, safe, and happy. Her life was defined by everyday love, the kind that holds a family together for decades.
While we will deeply miss her voice, her laugh, and her steady presence, we carry her legacy forward in the way we care for our children and choose kindness every day.
Mom, thank you for your love, your sacrifices, and the home you built. We take solace in knowing you are at rest with our lord and together again with Dad. We are forever grateful and will carry you in our hearts always.
Love you forever…
