Keith Warren

 

warren oldwarren b & wWeldon “Keith” Warren, 65, of San Leon, passed away on Monday February 22, 2016 at UTMB Hospital. He was born May 6, 1950 in Galveston, Texas to Glynn and Jeanette Warren.

After graduating from Clear Creek High School, Keith served in the United States Marine Corps. Keith was the recipient of the Rifle Expert Badge, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry, Navy Unit Citation and Good Conduct Medal. After serving in the US Marines, he went on to become a Law Enforcement Officer for 27 years. During this time he proudly served with the League City Police Department,  the Valley Mills Police Department,  Harris County PCT 8 Constable Office, the Kemah Police Department, Galveston County Sheriff’s Office and the Clarksville Police Department.

Keith is preceded in death by his parents Glynn Weldon Warren and Annie “Jeanette” Holcomb Warren. He is survived by his wife Priscila Warren, son Derek Warren and wife Miranda of League City, son Jason Warren and wife Amelia,  daughter Kerri Cook and husband Charles of League City, sister Glenda Proctor of Kemah, brother Greg Warren and wife Pam of La Porte,  11 grandchildren, 3 nieces, 3 nephews,  2 great nieces, 1 great nephew, 1 great-great nephew and by his ex-wife Elizabeth Hartman.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Monday, February 29, 2016 at Crowder Funeral Home in Webster. Burial will follow at The Houston National Cemetery at 1:45 PM.

  2. I’ve known Keith since 1959. We’ve been through some interesting times together. Lost track of him for quite a while but have always remembered all the good times together. He was a great guy and I know that he will be dearly missed. Rest in Peace, brother.
