Cody Lyston Harsey

cody 2Cody Lyston Harsey, 23, passed away peacefully in his sleep Thursday, February 5, 2015, in Pasadena, Texas, to start his new eternal life with the Lord.

Cody was born November 1, 1991, in Houston, Texas, the son of Stacey Lynn Harsey and Guy Lyston Harsey, brother to Courtney Lynn Ray, uncle to Jaynelin Faith Ray, and brother-in-law to Tyler Wesley Ray (USMC). He also received recent news of becoming a father with his fiancée, Michelle Lynn Crago. They were due to find out the sex of their baby on February 18, 2015. There was nothing more Cody looked forward to then becoming the best daddy ever. Fortunately, Michelle and Cody did decide on baby names together before his passing. If baby is a girl, she will be named Rayana Lynn Harsey and if it’s a boy, Abel Patrick Harsey. What a beautiful blessing to rejoice about! The Lord is allowing us to keep a piece of Cody here on earth!  Some of Cody’s favorite past times were hunting, fishing, playing guitar, and watching football. He also had an amazing artistic talent and was a very gifted, intelligent young man.
