Henry King Nolte, Jr.

nolte news paper young- 2Henry King Nolte, Jr. 84 of Texas City passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015 at his resident in Texas City.
Henry was born May 14, 1930 in Galveston, Texas, the son of Henry King Nolte and Charlotte Tinney Nolte. He was raised in Galveston and attended Galveston Schools and was a veteran of the United States Navy serving from 1953 to 1954 during the Korean War. He served on the USS Wasp. Henry worked for Kane Boiler Works, Falstaff Brewery, and retired from Amoco Company after 37 years of service. Henry love baseball, he played semi-pro slow and fast pitch softball, he was an excellent golfer, pool player and bowler. He loved his friends Frank Doffree, Leo Schltz, Monto and Jr. Puccetti. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Chris King Nolte and Brad Scott Nolte.
Henry is survived by the mother of his children Glendola Terrel Nolte; two sons Dwaine Ray Nolte of Galveston and Greg Dale Nolte of La Marque: grandchildren Kim Nolte Blasek, Renee Nolte, Dwaine Nolte, Jr., Stephine Nolte Barkdull, Summer Nolte, Autumn Nolte, Dylon Nolte and Hannah Nolte; Great grandchildren Anthony Martelli, Kameron Mellen, Brelyn Mellen, Jeffrey Dement, Jario Dement, Alexis Dement, Taylor Nolte, Britney Nolte, Isabella Nolte, Reid Barkdull, Sophie Barkdull, Josie Barkdull and Layla Griffith; one great great grandchild Keylee Dement. Henry is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation for Henry will be Tuesday, February 10, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2015 in the Chapel of the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque. Interment will follow at Galveston Memorial Park in HitcNolte newpaper- 1hcock, Texas.
