Roger Dale Lamb, 61, a life long resident of Houston, TX (Sagemont) area, passed away July 19, 2023 in Houston, TX. Roger was born in Houston, TX on July 20, 1961.

With profound sorrow, we bid farewell to Roger Dale, a man of many talents and a heart of gold. In his younger days, he shone as a football and track star, and his infectious humor and love for life made him the life of every party. His devotion to his siblings knew no bounds, always ready to protect and support them whenever needed.

Roger Dale’s journey led him to become a dedicated storm chaser, venturing to places like New Jersey and South Carolina for his family business, Brandy Plumbing. A man of compassion, he extended a helping hand to those in need and actively engaged with his community, sharing his testimony of how his relationship with Jesus transformed his life.

A sports enthusiast, Roger Dale’s passion for teams like the Astros, Cowboys, and Texans brought joy during lively phone calls and texts with his brother, family, and friends, both during and after games. Music held a special place in his heart, embracing genres from R&B soul to classic rock and gospel.

An outdoor enthusiast, Roger Dale cherished time spent with neighbors, always impeccably dressed in his Hawaiian shirts or favorite team jerseys, and adorned with a cross around his neck and his father’s cherished ring.

Above all, he cherished the moments and love he shared with his 3 daughters and 9 grandchildren. He also had special lunch dates with his sister and niece. Roger Dale’s unwavering love for his family and the Lord was evident in his daily sharing of Bible verses, which touched the lives of many.

His infectious laughter and witty jokes could light up any room, and his love for sports and the videos of his beloved chiweenie, Hurricane, will be deeply missed.

In times of adversity, Roger Dale discovered the truth, life, and love of Jesus Christ, leaving behind cherished memories for all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Bettye Lamb; brother, Joey Lamb.

He leaves behind his daughters:

He leaves behind his daughters: Brandi Lamb Hutchison, husband Joe, Brittni Dale Lamb, and Blakeli Cherese Lamb; grandchildren: Jaide, Jenna, Jesali, Brewer, Blayton, Brenham, Cooper, Camrin, and Cash; sister Bonnie Lamb Hughes; brother, Benny Lamb; cousin, Jackie Rose, and Kenneth Lamb; niece: Blacey Hughes; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends; his little buddy, Hurricane Lamb (chiweenie).
