Larry Gilbert Earles, Sr.

Larry Gilbert Earles, Sr., 83, of Alvin, TX, passed away October 14, 2018. He was born May 16, 1935, to Whittice and Edna Earles in New Orleans, LA. Larry served the Lord in his youth, he began preaching at 16 years of age and became an ordained Baptist minister, helping many churches. Larry proudly served his country in the artillery of the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict, and worked in construction as a steel fabricator. He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Laverne Earles, and brothers William Earles and James Earles.

Larry is survived by his daughter Laurie Laverne Echart and husband Wade; sons Larry G. Earles, Jr. and wife Debra, and David L. Earles and wife Yvette; sisters Carol Hollier, Ruth Hatfield, and Beverly Eriks; brother Robert Earles; grandchildren Amy Goad and husband Doug, Daniel Earles and wife Carrie, Nathan Earles and wife Danielle, Joshua Earles, Natalie Yepes and husband Matthew, and Zachery Earles; great-grandchildren Nathaniel Lopez, Bradley Earles, Cayla Earles, Ethan Earles, Jordan Fletcher, Cord Crowder, Logan Fletcher, Kylee Fletcher, and Marie Earles; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. A visitation in his honor will be held 9:00 – 10:30 am, Saturday, October 20, 2018, with funeral services at 10:30 am, Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, TX.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Josh Earles, Zach Earles, Daniel Earles, Nathan Earles, Doug Goad, Matthew Yepes, and Buddy Earles.
