Helen H. Wong
Helen H. Wong, age 75, passed peacefully into eternal rest on December 16, 2025, in Nassau Bay, Texas. Born on August 18, 1950, in China, she was the beloved daughter of Hong Ning Hui and Chai Yun Law. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Helena Hui; and her daughter-in-law, Margaret Wong.
Helen was a devoted wife, mother, auntie, grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Wei Sen Wong; her sons, Matthew (Lisa) Wong and Joseph Wong; her cherished grandchildren, Isaac, Stephanie, Sabrina, and Anthony; her brothers, Kin Chung (Suk Ling) Hui and Kin Kwok (Sandra) Hui, and her nephews, Anthony, Christopher, and Jonathan; and many extended family members and dear friends whose lives she touched with her kindness and grace.
Helen earned a Master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and went on to build an esteemed career in the Texas Medical Center, where she worked at Baylor College of Medicine and Methodist Hospital. She was also the steady and trusted support behind the family venture, serving as Finance Manager of the family company, Houston MJ Associates. While she was accomplished professionally, she was most fulfilled in serving others.
In her later years, Helen could often be found in the kitchen, joyfully trying out new recipes ranging from savory dishes to sweet treats. Her grandchildren eagerly awaited the moments when Grandma would invite them to see what she had whipped up, memories that will remain a source of warmth and comfort for years to come.
A woman of quiet strength and steadfast faith, Helen loved God deeply and lived as a humble servant, offering help to others quietly and without recognition. She never sought credit for her kindness, choosing instead to serve behind the scenes, guided by humility, compassion, and her devotion to God. She will be missed beyond measure, and her love, kindness, and faith will remain a lasting source of strength and an enduring example for all who knew her.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2026, at 5:00 PM at Crowder Funeral Home, 111 E. Medical Center Blvd., Webster, TX 77598.
