Michael “Mike” Dean Margison (69) of Livingston, Texas, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026 in Conroe. He was born in Nemburg, Germany on July 12, 1957 to Agnes and James E. Margison. Mike grew up in Brandon, Florida and relocated to Texas in 1991. Formerly of Texas City, Mike moved to Livingston to retire with his wife Debbie and to be closer to his children and grandchildren. Mike loved life and politics.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father. Mike is survived by his wife Debbie Margison; three sons, James Margison (Allyson), Shawn Margison and Michael Margison; two daughters, Paige Kirsten (Brandon) and Shelby Margison (Wes); brothers, Wayne, Roy, Ricky, and Donald; sisters, Joann, Pam, and Linda; 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and numerous friends and family from Texas to Florida.

In Mike’s honor, a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 1:00pm at the American Legion Post 402(6380 Highway 190 W, Livingston, TX 77351).
