Wanda Jean Heard
Wanda Jean Heard, 92, born on October 16, 1933, passed away on September 14, 2026. She was born to Lena and Howard Phillips. She was a resident of Pearland, TX, formerly of El Paso TX. Wanda was a member of FUMC Pearland and was a former member of the Eastern Star.
She is preceded in passing by her parents, her spouse of 49 years, Thomas Heard, and sisters, Joyce Kimball and Murrel Irigaray.
Wanda is survived by her nieces, Diane Kimball, Ashley Clements (Jacob), Kysa Littlefield (Steve), Lois Heard Pendly, Anita Heard Schaffrina, Cheryl Coffey Ritz, Lisa Coffey Marshall, and Laura Coffey Banks; she is also survived by her nephew, Jefferson Davis Oliver Heard, Jr.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., with visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 E. Broadway St., Pearland, TX 77581, with Rev. Reginald G. Clemons officiating.
Wanda will be greatly missed. She was a wonderful and loyal friend. Wanda was always there when needed. She gave her time and energy to help others. I will see you again some day. You are now with your Heavenly family, friends and in the hands of our Lord.
A wonderful woman. A wonderful Christian. A wonderful aunt. A wonderful friend.
I loved her dearly and will miss her light. While missing her here I will be happily thinking of the time I see her again.

Aunt Wanda will truly be missed. She was a quiet, yet strong, presence and always full of joy. She was warm, kind, witty and she will live on in our memories forever. My grandmother (Murrel) loved her sister, Wanda, very much and so I find comfort knowing that they are together again in Heaven.
