Diane Marie Ayala

Diane Marie Ayala, age 58, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2026, bringing an end to a long and difficult illness. She is finally free from suffering and has gone home to be with the Lord.

Born in Sugar Land, Texas, on November 15 to Alicia and Ernesto, Diane was a longtime resident of Alvin, Texas, where she built her life and raised her family as a devoted partner, mother, and grandmother. A faithful Catholic, she attended St. John the Baptist and Mary Queen Catholic Church whenever she could, though her declining health made it difficult to attend as often as she wished.

Diane was preceded in death by her beloved Uncle Tito, who helped raise her; infant son, Solomon; brother, Robert; cousin, Joe Luis; and parents, Alicia and Ernesto.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Alisa and Rachel Lima; her love of 39 years, Tony Lima; grandson, Alistair; Aunt Jane Magdalena, who also helped raise her; siblings; and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her deeply and were touched by her generosity and compassion.

She was tired her entire life. Now she can rest in eternal peace.

In honor of Diane’s life there will be a Funeral Service Saturday, September 19th, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. with a visitation from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 E Broadway Street, Pearland TX 77581. A burial at Houston Memorial Gardens, Pearland TX will take place after the service. Pallbearers serving will be: Tony Lima, Orlando Santellano, Ulises I. Vargas, Johhny Gonzalez, Jesse Gonzalez, Eduardo Ocanas, Gerardo Ocanas, Bobby Joe Cavazos
