Kathryn Su Gehbauer, 87, went home to the Lord on July 31, 2026.  She was born in Wheeler County to J.V. & Verona Younger on July 24, 1939.

Kathryn graduated from The University of Houston and briefly worked for a local television station.  She then chose to become a homemaker and raise her two sons Gary & Keith.  Once back in the workforce she supported a variety of companies with her marketing skills.

She was passionate towards her alma mater and made it to as many U of H Cougar football games as she could.  Kathryn was also a huge Houston Astros fan and rarely missed a game on T.V.

Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son Gary Gehbauer; her son Keith Gehbauer and wife, Sharon; her grandchildren Kelsey Patterson and husband, Cade; Eric Hall, Reed Gehbauer, and Emma Gehbauer; great grandchildren Kallen, Camden, and Colton Patterson; numerous extended family; and friends from her community.

On Friday, August 21, 2026, Kathryn’s family will greet guests from 10:00 am to 11:00 am followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am at Crowder Funeral Home, 111 E. Medical Center Blvd, Webster, Texas at 11am.  This will be followed by a reception and a private burial.
