Judy Carol Peeples, of League City, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026 in Webster, Texas at the age of 80. She was born on September 20, 1945 in Pontotoc, Oklahoma to Berk and Zelda Barrett.

She was a loving mother and grandmother, and avid reader, enjoyed traveling and spending time with family. She worked at NASA for 31 years in manufacturing and quality assurance.

She was preceded in death by her son Doug Schultz, her parents, her brothers Charles Barrett, Sam Barrett, Jerry Barrett, her sisters Dollie Smith, Nicky Thomas and Bid Thomas.

She is survived by her daughter Tammy Schultz, son Gregory Schultz; grandson Josh Schultz; sisters Bobbie Hayes and Reta Gunn; brothers Donnie Barrett and Mick Barrett.
