Heather Stuart
December 29, 1972 – June 7, 2026

Heather Stuart, 53, of Dickinson, Texas, passed away on June 7, 2026.

Born on December 29, 1972, Heather lived life to the fullest and brought joy to those around her. She was known for her contagious smile, her vibrant personality, and her ability to light up any room she entered. Heather truly was the life of the party and a source of sunshine for the people she loved most. Growing up, she was affectionately known as the “wild sister,” always keeping everyone on their toes and creating memories that would be talked about for years to come.

Above all else, Heather loved her family. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. She was a devoted mother to Allison Mehornay, Catherine Nabours, Joseph Magnuson, and Logan Magnuson. Heather was also a proud and loving grandmother to her three grandchildren, whom she loved with all her heart. Whether she was cheering them on at baseball games, celebrating birthdays, or stopping by just because she wanted to spend time with them, being “NiNi” was one of her greatest joys.

Heather is survived by her mother, Nancy Moreno, and stepfather, Juan Moreno; her children, Allison Mehornay, Catherine Nabours, Joseph Magnuson, and Logan Magnuson; her sisters, Rebecca Salazar and Rachel Rodriguez; her beloved boyfriend, Steven Tezeno; her three cherished grandchildren; and many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mark Stuart.

Heather found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She loved spending time swimming with family at her mom’s house, attending horror movie festivals with Steven, and adding to her ever-growing shoe collection through her favorite pastime—shopping.

Whether it was a birthday party, a baseball game, or an afternoon by the pool at her mom’s house, Heather loved being with the people who meant the most to her. Her laughter, contagious smile, and larger-than-life spirit made every gathering a little more special.

Heather’s memory will live on in the stories shared around family tables, in the laughter of those she loved, and in the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know her. Though she will be deeply missed, the love she gave so freely and the joy she brought to others will never be forgotten.

A small private gathering for family will be held to honor Heather’s life. The family respectfully asks for prayers as they navigate this tremendous loss and appreciate the love, support, and understanding of all who knew and loved her during this difficult time.
