Lisa Dawn Allen

Lisa Dawn Allen went to be with her Lord on January 21, 2026 at the age of 67 years old with her loving family by her side. Lisa was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana on July 4, 1958. She lived a life rooted in love, family, and devotion to those closest to her.

On July 21, 1978, Lisa married the love of her life, Donald Gean Allen. Together they shared 47 years of marriage, building a family grounded in strength, faith, and enduring commitment.

Lisa was a devoted mother and is survived by her husband Donald Gean Allen. Her beloved father in law, Robert Allen, Sr., Her beloved children: Donald Glenn Allen of Texas City, Texas, Daniel Gean Allen and wife Ashanna of Rosenberg, Texas, and John Wayne Allen, and wife Robin of Texas City, Texas. Her beloved grandchildren: Julius James Allen, Jordyn Faith Allen, Yari Beatriz Martinez, Presley Everett Allen, Victoria Beatriz Gonzalez, Javonte Da’vion Robinson, Lexia Arianna Shelton, Lester Lamond Shelton III, and Asher Quinn McNeil Allen. Her beloved siblings and in laws, Deana Kraft and husband David, Ferrin Weekly, sister in law Debbie Weekly, brother in law Robert Allen Jr. and wife Rose, sister in law Debra Spengler, sister in law Terri Wegerski and husband Randy, and brother in law Steve Allen and wife Yvonne. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, and the many children she babysat through the years and loved as her own.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ona I. Thomas Weekly and her father, James E. Weekly; her brother, Robert Weekly, her mother in law, Theda Allen, and brother in law Mike Spengler.

Lisa Dawn Allen will be remembered for her love, her resilience, and the legacy she leaves through her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held at 1 PM on January 31, 2026 at Church of the Nazarene in Texas City, Texas by Pastor James Lewis. 2105 5th Ave N, Texas City, Texas. Family and friends are welcome to visit with the family beginning at 12 PM. Flowers and plants can be sent to the Church of the Nazarene in Texas City.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque.
