Ronnie Lee Ferguson

February 7th, 1950 – December 23rd, 2025

It is with great sadness that the family of Ronnie Lee Ferguson of League City, TX, announces his passing at the age of 75. His presence brought joy to all who were blessed to interact with him. Ronnie was born in Natchitoches, LA, and after graduating from high school, he proudly served his country in Vietnam as a member of the U.S. Army. He loved serving steaks at the American Legion Post 490 to his fellow veterans, gardening, and playing golf whenever he had the chance to. He worked and retired for Brown and Root, and then worked for Turner Industries with 29 years of tenure.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 30 years, Susan Ferguson; his mother, Lorene Howell; his brothers, Rodney Howell (Becky) and Robert Howell (Diana); sisters, Peggy Bailey (Robert), and Carol Mueller (David). He is also survived by his daughter, Kim Gonzalez (Romeo); his son, Michael Ferguson (Leah); and bonus son, Matt Leitner (Cait). And lastly, his seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and countless nieces and nephews.

Ronnie will be interred at Houston National Cemetery with Military Honors January 20th, 2026 at 1:15 p.m.
