Douglas D. Culpepper Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Douglas D. Culpepper Jr. on April 28, 2025. Douglas was 86 years young. He was born on February 15, 1939 in San Antonio, Texas. Doug was the epitome of hard work, quiet strength, dedication and enduring love for family. He provided for his family as a skilled welder, pipe fitter and boiler maker. He retired from Amoco Oil after 20 years and was a proud union member with Pipe Fitters local 211. Beyond his work, Douglas was a 4th degree Knights of Columbus, a member of Lady of Lourdes church and served in the military in both the Army and the Marines. He loved to have a good laugh and enjoyed just sitting and talking with so many friends and family, he will be truly missed by so many.

He is survived by the love of his life Donna Culpepper. They were married 50yrs. Together they raised a family which included children Michael Siemsen (Bob), Diane Gall (Ricky), Douglas Culpepper III, Tommy Culpepper, Clairelle Culpepper (Joey), Virginia Engelbosch and Joseph Culpepper (Heather). He was a grandfather to Elizabeth, Meagan, Samantha, Megan, Madilyn, Ricky (Gracie), Emily, Stephen, Jaidyn and Isabella. He had 5 GREAT grandchildren Myla, Scarlett, Hudson, Reedleigh,  and Laykleigh. May the wind be always at his back, the sun upon his face & the winds of destiny carrying his love to dance with the stars.
