In Loving Memory of Sharon Kay (Isaacs)Wicker
November 13, 1944 – June 16, 2025
It is with deeply heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon Kay (Isaacs) Wicker. Sharon peacefully passed on June 16, 2025, in Rockwall, Texas, with her loving family by her side. Born on November 13, 1944, in Pecos, Texas, Sharon lived a full and radiant life -one that left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
Sharon never met a stranger. Her outgoing, extroverted nature made everyone feel like family, and her warm smile had a way of putting others instantly at ease. She had a magnetic personality – equal parts charm, sass, and sincerity – and her presence lit up every room she entered. Whether through heartfelt conversations or spontaneous laughter, Sharon made life more joyful for those around her.
She married the love of her life, Ronald J. Wicker, on January 12, 1963, in Midland, Texas. Their marriage was a true partnership filled with deep love, mutual respect, and decades of beautiful memories. Together, they built a life rooted in family, faith, and friendship. Ron and Sharon were blessed with a daughter, Shirley Renée, and a son, Ronald “Jeff”.
Sharon was a successful and driven businesswoman. She owned a Hallmark gift shop in Pearland, Texas, and later flourished as a real estate agent and owner of a ReMax office. She was admired for her work ethic, leadership, and her natural ability to connect with people. A proud community advocate, she served on the Board of Directors for the Chamber of Commerce and was actively involved in various civic and community efforts throughout the years.
Always stylish and put together, Sharon loved treating herself to shopping days and never missed an appointment to get her hair and nails done. She was glamorous, polished, and confident – a woman who found joy in the little things and shared that joy with others in big ways. She was known for her charisma, her laughter, and her unwavering generosity.
Sharon was a faithful member of the Episcopal Church and grounded her life in love, grace, and compassion. Her favorite roles however were that of a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She found her greatest joy in time spent with her family and cherished every moment of connection with them.
Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Shirley Renée Hale, her father, Ben L. Isaacs, and her mother, Wenona Enochs Isaacs. She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald J. Wicker; her son, Ronald Jefferson “Jeff” Wicker, and his wife Cathy; her adored grandchildren, Rylee Wicker, Dyson Wicker, Sydney Lamadrid, and Shelby Hale; and her precious great-granddaughter, Hadley Lamadrid. Sharon is also survived by her dear sister, Shirley Storie, and brother-in-law Ronald Storie, along with a large extended family and countless friends who were lucky to know her.
A memorial visitation to celebrate Sharon’s life will take place from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Crowder Funeral Home, located at 2422 E Broadway St, Pearland, TX 77581.
