Roberta Heider, 93, passed away on January 23, 2026 in Nassau Bay, Texas. She was born on September 5, 1932 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Jewell and Clinton Holomon.

She married Charles Heider in 1951, and helped to care for their growing family as he pursued his medical career. She was an accomplished painter and photographer, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Houston. She shared her love of music, nature, birds, literature, art – and especially dogs – with her family, who miss her dearly.

Roberta is survived by her children Charles Heider, Jr. and wife Ming-Mei, Rebecca Burris and husband Peter, Clinton Heider and wife Carol; and grandchildren Emily Heider, Elena Heider, Kyle Burris and wife Sarah Lane, and Isaac Heider.
