Richard James Cole, Jr.
Richard James Cole, Jr., 84, resident of Dickinson, Texas since 1987, passed from this life unexpectedly Wednesday, July 23, 2025. He was born April 2, 1941 to proud and loving parents, Richard James Cole, Sr. and Odette Babin Cole in Galveston, Texas where he resided most of his life (a true BOI).
He was a member of Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church. He spent his career as a supervisor with Anheuser Busch for 33 years, and prior was affiliated with Falstaff Brewery in Galveston, Texas. Richard was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Jonathan James Cole and son-in law, Shaune Stark. Richard leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife Janey Kay Denn Cole; daughter, Kimberley Stark; Son, Richard James Cole III and wife Alicia; four grandchildren, Samantha Cole, Nicholas Cole, Ian Stark and Paige Stark; numerous extended family and friends.
Richard had a dry sense of humor and loved to play practical jokes on friends and family. He also had a love for sailing, pigeons racing, travel plus being a wonderful dad.
In his honor a visitation and rosary will be held on Wednesday, July 30. 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with a rosary at 6:30 PM at Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson. A funeral Mass will be held on 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 31, 2025 at The Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church, Dickinson. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Dickinson, Texas.

Very sorry to hear about Richards passing, enjoyed him very much at work and outings years ago. Prayers for all the family at this sad time, my age is keeping me from attending but my Heart is with you Janey.
So sorry to hear about Mr. Coles passing I remember him and his wife Janey my father Pat Dwyer who passed in 2016 took me to buy a parakeet at their pet store when we lived in Clear Lake. My Dad met great people working for Anheuser Busch and I know Mr. Cole was one of them. Sending prayers up for your family 🙏
