Nettie Lamb Dworsky, 84, of League City, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025. She was born on April 7, 1941, in Chester, Texas to parents, Joe Henry Lamb and Mary Lena May Lamb.

Nettie was a devoted homemaker who met and married the love of her life, Edward, while working at United Gas in Houston, Texas.  Married in 1964, they built a loving home and raised two children together.

Nettie was an avid painter and master gardener.  She served as Chaplin for Bluebonnet Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas (DRT).   She loved all things Disney and enjoyed RV traveling with Ed.  She found great joy in being a grandmother and treasured the time spent with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; her sister Billie Flight; and her brother, Joe “Bubba” Lamb.

Nettie is survived by her son Burton Dworsky and wife Dee; daughter, Paula Dworsky Smith and husband, Steve; her grandchildren, Patrick Dylan Smith and Rachel Anne Smith; and her beloved dog, Penny.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson, Texas.
