Michael Leroy Kylberg
Michael Leroy Kylberg, 70, of Houston TX, passed away on May 11, 2025. He was born January 15, 1955 to Kathleen and Marvin Kylberg in Houston, Texas. Mike is preceded in death by his parents Kathleen and Marvin Kylberg.
He is survived by his wife, soulmate and best friend of 31 years, Beverly Kylberg; son Thomas Robertson (Amy); daughter Marie Baker (Clint); sisters Shirley Showell (Robert) and Kathy Walton (Michael); brother Andy Kylberg (Rita); grandchildren Clint Baker, Jr., Trenton Baker, Jonathan Baker, Nicholas Baker, William “Craig” Elliott (Courtney); Megan Elliot, Samantha Cliett (Brandon), and Amanda Baker. Mike is also survived by his 9 great-grandchildren Clint III, Logan, Trenton, Jr., Rose, Madelyn, William III, Emma, Liam, and Luke. Also numerous nieces nephews and his life long friend, James King, that he loved dearly and held close to his heart.
Mike loved to hunt and fish. He especially loved Dove hunting with his brother Andy and nephew Larry Jackson. His greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. Mike was a quiet strong man with tremendous design for details. He took pride in his work for Brazoria County Drainage District IV, where he ran a dragline and retired after 20 years of service. In his earlier years, he worked as a pipe fitter for Brown and Root. Mike and Ricky Smith, his lifelong friend, worked side by side as subcontractors for new homes doing framing and cabinet installation. Mike was a man of integrity, honor, and kindness, a true southern gentleman. His love and compassion will be remembered forever.
There will be a visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 E. Broadway St. Pearland, TX 77581. with a Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m.
