  5. Hello all. I’m sorry this is so late. I thought of
Joel while watching an episode of Tracker.
The actors’ brakes went out and he had to think
fast. Reminded me of when we were teenagers in
70’s. Joel being so kind hearted and a helpful
soul gave my friend, Sheila and l a ride. We were
on Palmer and 12th St when Joel’s brakes went out
on his car. Back then he drove a yellow
taxi cab vehicle. Anyway he had to figure out how to stop
without hitting another vehicle so he ran into
into the nearest electrical pole to stop his vehicle.
He jumped out of his car and gave the public the
Peace sign with both hands. Kind of like Nixon used
to do! It was hilarious! It looked like our taxi got in a wreck!
Sheila and l jumped out and walked the
rest of the way to her parents’ house. A lot
of our friends passed away since then in-
cluding Sheila Miller, Freddie Lopez, and so many others
I cannot name them all at the moment.
Joel Grimmett is forever in the hearts of all
who know him. We share his peace and love
and look forward to an eternity of eternal
Reunification and rest! God blessed us all
    With each other. Love,
    Anna
