Jack Adrian Guedin
Jack Adrian Guedin, 92, of Santa Fe, Texas, and formerly of Taft, Texas, passed away on September 10, 2025. He was born on December 25, 1932, to parents Ernest Guedin and Bonnie Bell Tolar Guedin.
Jack proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Before retiring Jack worked as a foreman for Maxwell House Coffee in Houston, Texas. Jack had the opportunity to retire early and never looked back. He was a creative cook and enjoyed sharing good food with family and his many friends. He was always a sports fan and loved playing and coaching football. He played college football at A&I. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed gardening. Later he had difficulties getting out to work the garden so he enlisted help from family and friends because there must be a garden! Jack had many jokes to share with anyone he met.
Jack was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
He is preceded in death by second wife Patty Guedin, and son, Ernie Guedin.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Teresa Kessel and husband Bob, and his son, Jack Adrian Guedin, Jr. and wife Kim, grandchildren, Hannah Webb, Jack and Maddie Guedin, and Ashley Chu, great grandchildren, Juniper and Archie, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas. A graveside service will follow on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 11:00am at Lamas Memorial Park Cemetery in Taft, Texas.
