Douglas Andrew Baumann passed away on July 19, 2025 in League City, Texas.  He was born on January 16, 1967 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Nancy R. Baumann and the late Donald G. Baumann, Sr.

He is survived by his mother Nancy, his sister Susan Nester (husband Trey Roper), his brother Don Baumann, Jr. (wife Birgitte Baumann), along with four nieces, one nephew, four great-nieces, four great- nephews and numerous other family members and friends.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Texas A&M University in 1989.  He worked for many years in retail management including owner of Douglas Men’s Store on The Strand in Galveston; and he more recently worked as Director for the Small Business Development Center for Galveston County.  He had a passion for music and his church.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 25^th, 2025 at 11:00am (visitation 10:00am), at Nassau Bay Baptist Church, 18131 Nassau Bay Drive, Houston, TX 77058.
