David Wayne Zack, 78 of Texas City passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 in Texas City.  He was born on May 19, 1947 to Harry and Wilma Zack in Galveston, Texas.

David was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in the Vietnam War in Thailand. He retired as a Machinist from Amoco with over 30 years of service.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Della Lee Zack, brother Dennis Zack and granddaughter Cassandra Delano. David is survived by his daughter Statia Zack and two sons: Dana Marks (Lori) and Damon Marks (Tina), eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

A visitation will be from 6:00pm – 8:00pm on Friday, August 1, 2025 at Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque.  Funeral Service will be at 10:00am on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque with Chaplain Lupe Woodard officiating. Burial will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.

Pall Bearers will be Tyler Marks, Christopher Anderson, Kelly Guillory, Damon Marks, Jay Marks and Josh Marks.
