David Nichols Tibbetts, 80, passed away on December 11, 2025, in Webster, Texas. He was born on April 11, 1945, in Malden Massachusetts to the late John and Catherine Tibbetts.

David was preceded in death by his sisters Janet Claar and Ann Dudek and is now reunited with his loving wife of 46 years, the late Kathleen Tibbetts who passed away in 2014. David is survived by his three sons and their wives, John and Casie of Austin, TX, Michael and Melissa of Clear Lake, TX and Robert and Doris of Clear Lake, TX; seven grandchildren, Caitlin, Sean, Antonio, Eric, Emma, Elizabeth, and Natalia and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

He attended Malden High School in Malden Massachusetts and worked as a small business owner before retiring, but even in retirement David continued to work in retail to keep busy.  He had a passion for his grandkids, making it to every concert, sports game and event his grandkids were involved in.

A memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers those wishing to make a memorial donation in David’s memory may do so to a charity of your choice.
