Vicente Hernandez, affectionately known as “Chicho,” passed away on October 20 at the age of 67. He was born in Santa Nueva Rosita Coahuila Mexico, on April 28, 1958.

Chicho was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He is survived by his beloved wife, Juana Hernandez and six children: Nora, Elizabeth, Myra, Chito, Vicente, and Jacob. He also leaves behind his cherished son-in-law Samuel, daughter-in-law Claudia, and 20 adored grandchildren who brought him great joy.

Chicho is also survived by his siblings Jesus Hernandez, Octaviano Hernandez, Jose Maria Hernandez, Juan Hernandez and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

He began working at a produce market at the age of 16 and where he  dedicated many years Chicho was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his family.

In his free time, he enjoyed watching soccer, baseball, basketball, listening to music, cooking for his family, or spending time outdoors. Weekends were often spent surrounded by family, where he loved sharing stories, laughter, and good food.

Chicho will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on through the love and values he instilled in his family.

Funeral services will be held at Crowder Family Home on Saturday, November 08, 2025 at 3:00 pm. 111 E. Medical Center Blvd, Webster, TX 77598
