Abel Gracia, Sr., 76, a resident of Houston, Texas, passed away on July 9, 2025. He was born on May 18, 1949 in Brownsville, Texas.

Abel worked as a superintendent for Clear Lake City water authority for 42 years.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp.

Abel is preceded in death by his father, Ovidio Gracia, grandparents, Herlindo and Leonore Gracia and his father & mother -in-law, Simeon C Navarro,Sr. and Rosey Navarro.

He leaves behind to treasure his memory, his loving wife, Josey Gracia; sons, Cain Gracia (Carol), Eugene Gracia (Ashley) and Abel Gracia,Jr. (Shonda); sisters Becky Ybarra and Elizabeth Fernandez: brother, Oscar Gracia and grandchildren, Cain Joseph Gracia, Kylie Gracia, Jordan Gracia and Brady Gracia.

In his honor, there will be a visitation on Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 9:00 to 10:00am with a memorial service following at 10:00am in the Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, Texas. The family requests no black shirts please only red, white, blue or Marine colors.
