Dolores Ann Laycock, 85, a resident to Santa Fe, Texas, passed away on October 12, 2026. She was born  on June 2, 1941 in Galveston, Texas to Virgil William Davis and Dolores Ceclia Balsam Davis.  Dolores was a devoted wife, and loving mother of five children.

She worked in administration in the medical field and went on to retire from the small business administration working in the same capacity.

Dolores is preceded in death by her parents. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Lynn Laycock; children, Lynn Laycock, Jr., Lisa Laycock, Jenny Perkins and husband Mark, Christopher Landon and wife Darlene, and Sabrina Murphy and husband Joseph.; grandchildren, April Zera and husband Justin, Matthew Murphy, Cameron Landon and wife Mia, and Hannah Landon; great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Ava Landon.

In her honor, a graveside service will be held on Monday, October 19, 2026 at 10:00 am at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.

Following the graveside service, family and friends are warmly invited to gather for a Celebration of Life Reception honoring the life and cherished memories of our beloved mother.

Lunch and refreshments will be served as we come together to share memories, celebrate her life, and enjoy fellowship with one another.
