Gordon Lee Myers, 85, of Alvin, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2026, in Dickinson. Gordon was born September 11, 1940, in Saint Albans, West Virginia, to Clyde and Anita Lowry Myers.

Gordon graduated from Texas City High School and went on to serve in the United States Navy. Gordon retired as General Manager for the Gulf Coast Water Authority.  A 41 year resident of Santa Fe, he was a former member of the La Marque Rotary Club and former member of Galveston County Invitation Pigeon Club.

Gordon was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Carole Dean Myers.  He is survived by his four sons: Dennis Myers (Lisa) of Zavalla, Greg Myers (Tammie) of Bandera, Jeff Myers (Karin) of La Marque, and Matt Myers (Mindy) of Dickinson, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Memorial Visitation will be from 1:00pm – 3:00pm on Saturday, August 1, 2026 with a Memorial Service to follow at 3:00pm at the Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque with Pastor Wes Owens officiating.
