Arlene LaFrance

Arlene LaFrance, 58, of Texas City, passed away at her home in Texas City, surrounded by love ones. She was born January 6, 1968, in Houston, Texas, to Sallye LaFrance. Arlene was life time resident of Texas City. She ran her own Beauty Shop.

Arlene is survived her two daughters: Stephanie Carter (James) and Kathryn Yvonne Morin (Fernando); one son, Henry “Trey” Hoya III; one sister, Lee Fowler (Will); one brother, Wayne Howard (Cindy); and three grandchildren: Liam, Aiden, and Spencer; with the fourth Wyatt Lee on the way; Aunt Martha “Tutti” Foster and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

A visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm Tuesday April 14, 2026, at James Crowder Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00am Wednesday April 15, 2026, at James Crowder Funeral Home, with Jackie Martinez officiating. Interment will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will have a reception at 2732 27th Ave N., Texas City, TX.

Pallbearers will include, Anthony Cooper, Aaron Cooper, Trey Hoya, James Carter, Howard Long and Will Fowler. Honorary pallbearers include Jeff Wright, Fernando Morin, Gilbert Pena, Bubba Cooper, Wayne Howard, Karen Smith and Cliff Foster.

And we miss you and you will always be in our hearts. So rest now, baby, we love you. In baby, I thank you for all the life lessons that I learned from you in these last three years.I will never regret one moment of what we ‘ve done.Know that you will always be so special to me.
