Elinor Glyn Dixon, 93, of Friendswood, Texas, passed away on April 3rd, 2026. She was born on September 17th, 1932, in Mineola, Texas, to Ambros Glenn Clark and Mary Eloise Clark. She had been a resident of Friendswood, Texas, for fifty-eight years.

Elinor is preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and  Eloise Clark, and her brother, William Gerald Clark.

She is survived by her son, Michael Ray Dixon (Mary); her two grandchildren, Chad Dixon (Tamara) and Justin Dixon (Alaina); and three great-grandchildren, Noah Dixon, Tate Dixon, and Jett Dixon.

Elinor was a faithful member of First Baptist Friendswood. She spent twenty years employed with NASA as a secretary and 15 years with the City of Webster.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, May 30th, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M., with a Memorial Service at 2:00 P.M. at Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 E. Broadway St, Pearland, Texas 77581.

In lieu of floral arrangements, the family has asked that donations be made to any hospice organization of your choosing on behalf of Elinor’s legacy.
