Adolph Richard Kivch
Adolph Richard Kivch, 88, of Texas City, passed away Friday March 27, 2026, in Texas City. Adolph was born May 11, 1937, in Galveston, Texas to Jack and Elizabeth Kivch.
Adolph attended St. Patrick’s Catholic School and graduated in 1955 from Kirwin High School. He worked for Black Hardware, Monsanto Chemical Company (for 25 years) and Sterling (for 8 years).
Adolph was an avid beekeeper and loved hunting and fishing. He was a Charter member of both the Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree Matthew H. Wilson Assembly 1988 and the M. J. Babin Assembly. Adolph loved spending time at the Galveston County Model Rail Road Club running his trains, which he was a senior member. He enjoyed the company of his family and growing a garden.
Adolph was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Elizabeth Kivch, his brother Jack J. Kivch, Jr., his sister Mary Helen Caskey and son Randy Kivch. Adolph leaves behind to cherish his memory of 67 years of his loving wife Mary Frances; son Steven & wife Carol; son David & wife Brenda; grandchildren Emilie E. Kivch of Raleigh, NC; David (Joey) & wife Jennie; Nicholas & wife Amanda; Great Grandchild Joseph A Kivch; numerous Nieces and Nephews.
A Memorial Visitation will be at 10:00am Wednesday, April 8, 2026 with the Memorial Mass to follow at 11:00am at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in La Marque with Msgr. James Anderson officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque.
