Sorry for your loss. Netha was a sweet lady.
I was thinking about Netha the week before her death. I am so grateful for the experience that I had as a young girl of her wisdom, strength and humility.
Though I haven’t lived in League City since 1971, the memory of the woman who had a baby boy and lived across the street has stayed with me since then. In life I have learned that there are wonderful people who are so present in life and to life that they can be anchors for those who are needing help touching down on earth and finding relevance.
There were key moments that she opened my awareness to a way of making a difference in the world through her taking action and through her extending care to my family after my father’s death.
I know she is with us still, in our memories, and for me in the way I work to be with others.
