Mary Jo Manar, passed away on January 27, 2026, in Houston, TX. She was born on June 24,1947 in Bloomington, Indiana to Ralph and Elizabeth Kerr. Mary Jo is survived by her: husband, Fred Manar Jr.; son, Fred Manar III; sister, Catherine Kerr; brothers, Ralph and Richard Kerr and numerous family members and friends.

She earned a BS in Mathematics from University of Texas and a MS in Accounting from University of Houston. Mary Jo worked as a Certified Public Accountant for Deloitte, Haskins, and Sells.  She had a passion for small dogs, especially corgis, and loved to travel.

On Sunday, February 1, 2026, Mary Jo’s family will greet guests for a Viewing and Visitation from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 pm at Crowder Funeral Home, 111 E., Medical Center Blvd., Webster, TX 77598.
