George Gottlieb Wieland Jr., 85, passed away on December 20, 2025, in Seabrook, Texas. He was born on November 28, 1940, in New Jersey to George Gottlieb Wieland Sr. and Edna (Gravener) Gottlieb. George is survived by his: wife, Valorie (Jordan) Wieland; daughter, Ericka Hebert and Jessica Hill and numerous family members and friends.

When his nation called, he answered by joining the United States Air Force. George worked as a Chemical Engineer.  He had a passion for playing bridge and reading and loved to Square Dance.

On Tuesday, January 27, 2026, George’s family will greet guests from 1:00 – 2:00 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 pm at Crowder Funeral Home, Webster, Texas. The Burial of Ashes will follow at a later date at Houston National Cemetery.
