David Kenneth Palma
David Kenneth Palma, 64, of Houston, Texas, passed away on December 26, 2025. He was born in Los Angeles, California, on December 30, 1960, to Eugenio Palma and Marjorie June Shaw. David was a longtime resident of Pasadena, Texas, for many years.
David took great pride in his work and deeply enjoyed the camaraderie of his co-workers. Outside of work, he was most at home on the water – whether he was boating, fishing, or simply enjoying the beach. He treasured anytime spent with his circle of friends from his days at Sam Rayburn High School. Above all, David’s heart belonged to his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Brandi Cardwell, and her husband, Carson; his son, Clay Palma; his brother, Greg Palma, and his wife, Linda; and his two beloved grandchildren, Ezra and Everleigh.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie Shaw and Eugenio Palma.
His family finds comfort knowing he is at peace now – hopefully wetting a line and bending a pole in his favorite spot.

Rest in Peace David 💔 wish it wasn’t so! But it was your day. Sad for the remainder of family. No more struggles
Linda,
When you sent me this message re: David, I thought it was a scam and then I saw this. My heart aches and goes out to you all. David was my first crush when I came to Houston:) So many memories! the bars, The Sizzler the dancing the late nights oh what fun we had. My prayers are with the Palma family.
Where did the time go ol friend,so many good times and a few bad.
Little did i know when I talked to you on Christmas Day it would be the last.
When God calls us home its never expected and I am going to miss
our friendship .I know your in the fathets arms from the time you carried
a bible with you at a time of your walk with CHRIST.
Dear David, I send my prayers and condolences to your family in Jesus name.
We didn’t really keep in touch after HS except for seeing you at Sizzler when I took my kids a few times when they were growing up. And then the reunions.
Singing next to each other in 7th & 8th grade choir, we were the best of buds! Goofing off as much as we could get away with & still getting 1’s in competition!
I’ll miss you. Save me a seat in choir when my time comes to join you!
