Heidi Gissel Bradley (Cortez)

With profound sadness, the family announces the passing of Heidi Gissel Bradley (Cortez), a beloved daughter, niece, cousin, and friend, who left this world on November 13, 2025. She was born on April 4, 1995, in Tepic, Mexico.

Throughout her academic journey, Gissel excelled, consistently ranking among the top students in the state. Gissel graduated in Mexico with a bachelor’s degree in dentistry with high honors, a reflection of her dedication, intelligence, and strong ethic. At the age of 24, she migrated to the United States, and lived in Houston, Texas, where she met, fell in love with, and married Josh Bradley.

She enjoyed painting and dancing, remaining active in the Latin dance community in Eugene, Oregon where she continued to grow her dancing skills. Her bright spirit, kindness, and gentle heart touched all who knew her. Her competitive spirit, paired with her infectious laughter and playful nature, made every game a memorable occasion. Her sparky personality, intelligence, and creativity will forever live in our memories.

Gissel is survived by her parents, brother, sister, extended family and friends, all of whom will forever cherish her light, along with a wide circle of loved ones who will miss her dearly. We invite all who knew her to join us in remembering and honoring her beautiful life.
