Joe Ruiz Jr, 80, of LaPorte TX passed away on November 11, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on April 1, 1945, to Joe Sr and Manuela Ruiz in El Campo, TX.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, sisters and wife.

He is survived by his daughter Racquel Servin (Alonzo), stepdaughter Teri Ortiz (Mike), granddaughters Malerie (Carlos), Danielle & Vanessa, 10 great grandchildren & 1 great-great grandson.

Joe was a man of profound faith, deeply loved and cherished by his family, whose life was a testament to these core values. He loved to spend his time with family and friends, playing pool and taking long peaceful car rides. “In accordance with Joe’s wishes, there will be no formal services. A private burial will be handled by the family at a later date at La Colonia Cemetery”
