  1. I have been missing you, seems like a lifetime and it’s only been a week.
I have no words to express the Love in my heart that I have for you. My
heart is forever broken. You are our older brother, Dad’s namesake, I never
thought this day would ever come. We didn’t even say Goodbye! Your legacy
will carry on through the “Boys” as we all called them. Your memory will never fade in my heart. I will forever miss you, until we meet again!

  5. I was the one and only granddaughter and niece for 18 long years. You always looked out for us. Played with us. Loved us like your own. I am forever heartbroken. I won’t get to hear your voice asking for help and always thinking you were a bother. You never were. You always worried about me and I would always say, I’m fine Uncle Alex, worry about yourself. You had the biggest heart. I will forever miss you💜

  6. I had the privilege of knowing Alex through my mother Alma. It was heartbreaking to get this unexpected news. Alex was a person who genuinely routed for me and my family. The last time we spoke, I never imagined it would be the last conversation I would have with him, but he left me with these words that perfectly capture his kind gentle spirit: “Well I’m happy for you all, it’s good to know there’s still hope in humanity.” That was Alex to us —always finding and celebrating the best in people. May his spirit live on as a reminder to all of us to be a little bit more like Alex. My deepest condolences to his family.
